DOMINANSI APIKAL
Di dalam pertumbuhan tanaman terdapat adanya dominansi
pertumbuhan dibagian apeksatau ujung organ, yang disebut sebagian dominansi
apikal. Dominansi apikal diartikan sebagai persaingan antara tunas pucuk dengan
tunas lateral dalam hal pertumbuhan. Sedangkan menurutChambell dominansi apikal
merupakan konsentrasi pertumbuhan pada ujung tunas tumbuhan, dimana kuncup
terminal secara parsial menghambat pertumbuhan kuncup aksilar.
Dominansi apikal atau dominansi pucuk biasanya menandai
